Where A Pakistani Passport Travels Easiest

The honest map: which borders open on arrival, which are a ten-minute e-visa, and which unlock only when you already hold a strong visa. No myths, no outdated lists.

Ask the internet where a Pakistani passport goes and you'll get lists copied from 2019. Here's the version we actually book against — three tiers, no mythology. Rules do move, so we re-confirm every case live before anyone buys a ticket.

01 /Walk straight in — on arrival

  • Maldives — free thirty-day stamp on arrival for tourists. The easiest beach trip on the passport.
  • Nepal — visa on arrival at Kathmandu; trekking permits are separate but simple.
  • Sri Lanka — ETA online, and SAARC passport holders get it free.
  • Thailand — visa on arrival at the main airports, fifteen days, for a small on-arrival fee.

02 /The ten-minute e-visas

  • Malaysia — the e-visa is a short online form and a few working days; genuinely uncomplicated.
  • Azerbaijan — the ASAN e-visa, standard processing in around three working days.

03 /Unlocked by a strong visa in hand

This is the tier most people never hear about: a valid US, UK or Schengen visa — or residence — in your passport opens doors it has no official connection to.

  • Turkey — e-visa, apply online, if you hold a valid US, UK or Schengen visa or residence.
  • Qatar — visa on arrival under the same logic, plus the GCC-resident route.

“The passport tells one story; the visas inside it tell the rest. Plan the strong ones first and the easy ones multiply.”
